The meditation of
Modern BowlsThese are a copper/tin composite commonly referred to as ‘bell metal’ for its resonant properties.
All are hand hammered to achieve the shape then hammered again to achieve the desired tones. All sizes and tones are available from the very small to extremely large - depending on your needs. |
Traditional Tibetan
Golden BowlsThese are the most common type of hand made Tibetan Bowls and as the name suggests, golden in colour with no patterning. The larger the size, the deeper the tone and usually, the longer the vibration.
These are a fantastic starting point for any sound healer, yoga teacher or meditation master as they are (generally) easy to use, sturdy and easy to maintain with lovely clear tones and resonant overtones. |
Beautiful tones
Picture BowlsThese are similar to the golden bowls but are etched inside and out and beautifully adorned with pictures of gods/goddesses, mandalas, script and more.
The fundamental tones and overtones are similar to the golden bowls but some would say, more beautiful to look at and they are easy to play well. |
Frequency therapy

Available in various sizes.

Hum of the earth
Ulti BowlsVery heavy, large, thick bowls with a distinctive out-turned upper rim and blackened outer finish.
These are either plain and golden on the inside or have beautiful, ornate pictures within but all have the black outer colouring. Very deep tones, long resonance and vibration with slow overtones. |
Ancient beauty
Antique BowlsAll antique bowls are genuinely old, they are found and as far as we are aware no longer produced in the varying specific shapes of the past.
Because these bowls are rare, finding specific tones may be difficult but we’ll always try our best for you. Lots of the bowls come with scars of their past and we do not remove these as that’s down to your choice. If you do decide to give them a face lift, we can point you in the right direction. |
Song of the sea
Dolphin Bowls/Water BowlsDeep bowls with squarer sides and a very flat bottom which when small amounts of water are added, produce sounds akin to dolphin or whale song!
These are a beautiful addition to any set of bowls for their mesmerising song capabilities. Generally a very similar size but weights, colours and decorations vary. |
Well-rooted sound
Stand BowlsVery distinctive full shape with a small stand attached below and usually brassy in colour.
These are generally higher, clearing tones because of the shape and can be held very effectively by the ‘stand’ to direct the sound frequencies anywhere - no more ‘floating’ on your palm with these unusual beauties! |
Light but bold
Kopre BowlsVery thin, lightweight bowls with a very full, belly shape. These bowls produce quite deep tones compared to others of the same size and are very portable.
The colours range from bright, shiny golden inside and out to black on the outside with a golden inside (like Ulti bowls). |
A new you
Lingham BowlsThese are Tibetan Bowls with a protrusion in the bottom at the centre, signifying the Hindu God Shiva.
As Shiva is the God of destruction, the energy of these bowls is to clear away the old to make way for the new. Quite rare, varying sizes, tones and colours depending on what is available. |
